The artist behind the sound

Michael Banowetz.

Recording artist, producer, and Emmy Award–winning post-production editor.

Michael was the post-production editor for Hollywood One On One, which earned a 1995 Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Program. He has edited over 600 episodes of television and written 300 of them. His experience also includes television audio sweetening.

This Aborted Earth: The Quest Begins, co-created with Noah Sodano, was selected among the final 25 videos for the 2010 Guggenheim YouTube Play exhibition, presented across Guggenheim museums in New York, Bilbao, Venice, and Berlin. Michael composed the title song.

Premier Women’s Rodeo (PWR)

Michael currently provides audio sweetening for Premier Women’s Rodeo. PWR’s exclusive national television partnership with ION and Grit includes programming scheduled for 2027.
